Ariel Collier (she/they) is a London-based artist and curator originally from South Florida.

Working across photography, poetry and textile, Collier's practice researches and archives marginalised interior worlds and builds community through care.

Their curatorial framework draws on ecstatic poetics as a way of interpreting and holding collective experience.

Collier is the founder of Home Studio, a nomadic space dedicated to the promotion, empowerment and development of queer and trans global majority artists by hosting workshops, CRITS, making sessions and exhibitions.

They have hosted events and presented work with Auto Italia, ICA, Lewisham Arthouse, Studio Voltaire and more. They have completed residencies and trainingships with the [Zanele] Muholi Art Institute, Black Blossoms Studio Residency and the Artist Represent Recover Network supported by Arts Council.

Collier holds a BA in Visual Arts and Emerging Media Management from the University of Central Florida, an MA in History of Art from SOAS and is currently pursuing an MFA with the alternative arts programme, School of the Damned.
